    Through this service, entities can:
    • Disseminate information that describes security incidents such as intruder attacks, security vulnerabilities, intrusion alerts, computer virus, or hoax.
    • Approve the information to be disseminated. 
    • Provide any short-term recommended course of action for dealing with the resulting problem. 
    • Provide guidance for protecting the systems or recovering any systems that were affected. 
    • Notify various parts of the enterprise or constituency about the vulnerability and share information on how to fix or mitigate the vulnerability. 
    • Communicate with vendors, other CSIRTs, constituent members, and the individual groups who initially discovered or reported the vulnerability.

    This service provides specialized information security courses and workshops in which the Center seeks to build capacity in the field of information security. It aims at training the specialists to deal with the risks of information security. It also helps in  introducing them to the best security practices to avoid possible risks and reduce their impacts on government entities. The service ensures the business continuity and minimizes the losses associated with these risks in line with eOman Strategy that aims at providing a secure information society.

    The information security program for government institutions "Waay" is a unified program targeting government entities. The program aims at training a representative of each government entity according to the training program of “Train the Trainer” in the field of information security. It will generate cadres capable of implementing the training and information security programs adopted by the center so that each trainee can complete the training and awareness program in coordination with the center in all ministries and government institutions.

    3- Acceptance or rejection of the application 
    4- Analysis of the digital evidence and preparation of the report
    5- Deliver the report and the evidence

    This service includes the receipt and classification of security incidents and then responding to them after conducting the necessary analysis of accidents and incidents, as well as investigation of incidents by analyzing records, tracking the sources of penetration, and providing the necessary support to respond to incidents by assisting the victims and directing them to overcome the impact of the incident via remote access, Fax, telephone, or e-mail. Incident response is coordinated between affected parties.
